Frittata Travel Reviews

I count on travel reviews when I’m planning a trip. Life is too short and vacation days are too precious to waste. The key to trusting a travel review is to understand the perspective and travel style of the reviewer.

Travel Style

I’m in my late 40’s and enjoy traveling solo. I prefer off-the-beaten path locations, upscale accommodations, authentic experiences and genuine service.

Food is important to me when I travel, and I prefer healthier, plant-based, seasonal or locally-sourced food.

I invest in my own expansion regularly so I’m always in search of my next wellness retreat. I prefer beach to mountain, ocean to desert and airplanes to road trips.

I am also a bird photographer and venture to exotic destinations to discover new feathered friends, so I will review eco-lodges from time to time.

You will not find reviews for cruises here (unless it is a very small ship). I did Disney in the 80s and that was enough for me.

If you are looking for travel destinations centered around nightlife or a party, you will not find it here.

A good travel review should tell you the things you can’t learn by reading a property’s website.

  • Is the destination safe?
  • Do the pictures over or under represent the actual resort?
  • Are the fancy rooms worth the upgrade?
  • Where should you not waste your money in terms of excursions, add-ons or extras?
  • Can you work remote or should you leave the computer at home?
  • What is the best kept secret?
  • Would you go back?

The reviews I post will give you the insights that I would have wanted to know before committing hard-earned dollars and precious vacation days to a destination.
